Eddie Hui (Hui Siu-chung) is a distinguished Information and Communications Technology (ICT) veteran, serial entrepreneur, and executive coach who serves as the Founder and CEO of IT emaos. With more than 40 years of international corporate leadership spanning Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Canada, Hui has built a reputation as an "Enterprise Doctor" specializing in cross-border market entry and sales acceleration. Recognized for his extensive experience across major global tech infrastructures, he bridges the gap between multinational corporate standards and early-stage startup incubation across the Greater Bay Area.

Hui’s professional trajectory began in the early 1981 after earning his Higher Diploma in Electronics Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic. He immediately immersed himself in technology support and management, working for top-tier computer vendors like WANG Pacific and ENCAD. His career quickly assumed an international scope, spending considerable time in North America handling corporate markets for Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Limited before returning to Asia to spearhead regional expansions during the personal computer and enterprise storage boom of the 1990s.

As a prominent market execution strategist, Hui specializes in scaling regional footprints from scratch. In 1997, he assumed a critical role at EMC Computer Systems as the Strategic Alliance Manager for Greater China, subsequently advancing to Channel Director for PR China based in Beijing. His capacity to capture complex corporate market shares was further proven through executive stints at Sun Microsystems, Emailvision, and the French B2B procurement network cc-Hubwoo. Alongside his corporate ascent, Hui completed an MSc in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick in 1998, refining his analytical command over enterprise operational frameworks.

Driven by a persistent entrepreneurial mindset, Hui has successfully launched four independent businesses since 1988 across Toronto, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. In 2004, he established the foundation for what would become IT emaos (originally established in Shanghai and later formally registered in Hong Kong). Under his guidance, the firm has matured into a leading global business development consulting outfit, functioning as a vital operational gateway that guides overseas corporations into Mainland China while simultaneously helping domestic Chinese tech enterprises expand into international markets. His regional economic leadership earned him appointments as the Business Development Envoy for the Zhuhai City Government and Vice President of the International Smart City Research Institute under the China Ministry of Science and Technology.

Today, Hui channels his deep domain knowledge into fostering the next generation of technological innovation. He is deeply integrated into the academic and venture landscape, acting as a part-time professor and senior lecturer across universities in Hong Kong, Macao, Zhuhai, and Shenzhen.
